In this day and it still floors me how much spam and crap is prevalent out there.
I mean, what it the satisfaction here? What in the name of <insert favorite diety here> do these folk derive for mass-mailling, mass-registering, and mass(turbating) the genitals of the web?
Is it really that orgasmically reciprocating to these would-be script monkeys to send this crap out day after day?
I try and picture their conversations:

And now in recent weeks it's been all email from Russia! As many as 25 new "registrants" have appeared on my members pending activation in the couple of days.
Every last one with a email address in Russia.
I can't bring myself to parody what I beleive this new group of losers do in the wee hours of their listless lives.
...they're probably watching re-runs of Miami Vice, or some other kind of American refuse on their communal televisions.
If asked why they do it I'm sure they would reply, "потому что есть"
