bluehost.com -- this is the host where phpbb.com resides.
With a such a busy client (and I'm sure there are others) and that they are still able to provide a very fast server to generate their pages makes it a very attractive solution for my needs.
Beyond that I will also be looking to officially set up a proper Linux server, obtain a static IP for it, and just run my own server.
I've done before, though I used a plain Win2000 system, then. That and a manually set up LAMP configuration. I ran that "server" using a dynamic IP address pointer for almost 3 years until the hardware failed. Catastrophically, too.
My intentions will be the offering of custom designed on portal themes, photo and image enhancement and retouching, and a few other (hopefully) revenue generating projects.
Until then, I apologize for any slow loading times...I guess you could say I want to make you remember the dial-up era.
